Palmer

Palmer, AlaskaPalmer is located in the heart of Alaska, the Matanuska Valley, 45 miles northeast of Anchorage. Nestled between the Talkeetna and Chugach mountain ranges, Palmer benefits from rich soil and breathtaking mountain views.  Palmer lies along the Glenn Highway, east of Wasilla.  While Palmer has seen slower growth than neighboring Wasilla, it has retained the small-town feel and charm that sets it apart and draws visitors year after year.
