Did you know? All real estate licenses expire on January 31 of even-numbered years, regardless of when first issued. Northern Trust Academy offers a package class of all the continuing education classes needed to renew your real estate license.

State Requirements

Before a license can be renewed, real estate licensees must complete the following:

• 8 Hours of Continuing Education Core Curriculum
  The core curriculum stresses current trends in real estate practices and changes in state, federal and case law in the areas of real estate sales, property management, community assoxiation management or commercial sales.

• 12 Hours of Continuing Education Elective Courses

Attendance Policy

Class size is limited. Registration must be completed to secure class availability. Tuition must be paid at the time of registration by Visa or Mastercard online or by check or cash at Northern Trust Real Estate. There is a $25.00 NSF fee assessed for any checks returned for non-payment.

To cancel, a student must notify Northern Trust Academy 24 hours prior to the start of the class. If a refund is requested, a $50.00 non-refundable cancellation fee will be charged. The refund will be made to the student within 15 days of the request.

Students may reschedule to a different date within 6 months of the date of the enrolled class. If the student does not complete the class within 6 months, the tuition is forfeited to Northern Trust Academy.
